After a lazy morning at the pool, Shell offered to make us a nice cooked breakfast :-)
We've already learned that bacon is totally unlike any bacon you've ever seen before, and certainly isn't something you'd actually enjoy, so we stuck with egg, beans, toast and sausage.
I guess we've discovered that the interpretation of sausage is as loose as the interpretation of bacon:
Oh sure, it looks like a sausage. Actually it looks really good....on the outside. The problem is what's on the inside:
The texture is just all wrong! These were sold as 'English Beef Sausages' but seem to have more in common with hotdog frankfurts texture wise than anything the English would call sausage. As to the taste - maybe there was some beef flavouring in there, but there was no meat. They did not get eaten, but we've learned another valuable lesson :)
